This acquisition was financed through a blend of a newly issued $550 million term loan, existing cash reserves, and the conversion of Keurig Dr Pepper’s (KDP) minority equity stake in La Colombe into Chobani equity.
La Colombe, currently serving consumers through various channels such as retail, cafes, foodservice, and direct-to-consumer, stands as the exclusive ready-to-drink (“RTD”) coffee company. With complete ownership of its supply chain, from conscientious bean sourcing and superior roasting to crafting exceptional product experiences, La Colombe has carved a niche for itself with a dedicated customer base.

Chobani’s Founder and CEO, Hamdi Ulukaya, expressed confidence in the company’s robust position for growth, citing double-digit, volume-led sales growth and significant margin expansion. Ulukaya anticipates leveraging Chobani’s distribution prowess, together with its strategic partnership with KDP, to introduce La Colombe’s high-quality cold brew and ready-to-drink craftsmanship to a new generation of consumers.
