LG Unveils 2024 QNED and QNED Mini LED TV Lineup in Anticipation of CES 2024

Preceding the CES 2024 event, LG Unveils 2024 has introduced its latest collection of QNED and QNED Mini LED TVs for 2024. This announcement follows closely on the heels of LG’s recent introduction of the Smart Home AI Agent robot. These cutting-edge TVs showcase LG’s Quantum Dot NanoCell color and Mini LED backlight technologies, promising enhanced black levels, more precise color reproduction, and other advancements.

The diverse range of sizes in the new lineup caters to a wide spectrum of customers, with options including 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 86, and 98 inches. LG QNED Mini LED TVs, designed for realistic contrast, leverage Precision Dimming technology for improved gradations and precise backlight control. Meanwhile, LG QNED TVs utilize local dimming technology, ensuring vibrant contrast and exceptional brightness, according to the company.

Video and audio enhancements are a key focus, with the inclusion of the α8 AI processor, surpassing its predecessor with a 1.3x increase in AI performance, a 2.3x enhancement in graphic performance, and a processing speed 1.6 times faster.

Capitalizing on these AI improvements, LG introduces features like AI Picture Pro, employing deep learning algorithms to discern faces, objects, and backgrounds within a scene, enhancing texture and fine details for realistic imagery. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro further elevates details with precise HDR optimization for a 3D-quality viewing experience. Meanwhile, AI Sound Pro delivers virtual 9.1.2 surround sound from the built-in speakers.

In terms of software, these models will showcase a new webOS program promising up to 5 years of OS updates. Additionally, they offer individual profiles, support for Apple AirPlay and Chromecast, and a variety of accessibility features, including dedicated menu settings, sign language avatars, remote control tutorials, and more.

The latest version of webOS introduces a revamped main home UI screen featuring the Dynamic Q Card for swift and easy access to services, organized into customized groups such as Home Office, Home Hub, Sports, and Games.
