Abbott revealed that this news was recently conveyed exclusively to Chuck E. Cheese employees in Sioux Falls, and the team is scheduled to convene on Friday morning for further details.

According to Abbott, parents have been reaching out to the restaurant frequently due to the cancellation of birthday parties resulting from the impending closure.

The closure was officially confirmed by the corporation on Thursday evening. In a statement sent via email from Chuck E. Cheese Entertainment, the corporation expressed, “We are constantly assessing our real estate and development strategies to ensure they align with our strategic objectives. We have made the tough decision to close, effective 3/30/24. We will continue to explore new opportunities for families to enjoy Chuck E. Cheese and remain dedicated to providing enjoyable, family-friendly experiences across all our locations. We sincerely appreciate the ongoing support from our communities.”

The Sioux Falls establishment has long served as a go-to destination for parents seeking an outlet to entertain their children and expend their energy, particularly during harsh winter seasons. Operating since 2001, Chuck E. Cheese has been a cherished part of the local community.
