Coupled with the robust twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 upfront, generating 611 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque independently, the combined power output escalates to a staggering 789 hp at 6,000 rpm. Peak torque registers at 701 lb-ft, available from 1,750 rpm to 5,750 rpm. The 25-kWh battery offers an estimated electric-only driving range of 37 miles, pending final EPA assessments.

This electrifying setup propels the Urus SE plug-in hybrid to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, boasting a top speed of 194 mph. Given its hefty weight of nearly three tons, Lamborghini has judiciously equipped the vehicle with electrically actuated anti-roll bars, capable of stiffening during cornering to minimize body roll and relaxing during straight-line travel to enhance ride comfort.

Operating on a 48-volt electrical system, the SUV provides drivers with a selection of driving modes, including EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge, alongside the standard Strada, Sport, Corsa, Neve, Sabbia, and Terra modes. Each mode adjusts throttle response and can vary the Urus SE’s ride height, expanding suspension travel from 0.6 inch to 3.0 inches.

Visually, the Urus SE receives several cosmetic enhancements aimed at enhancing aerodynamics, such as a distinctive liftgate with Y-shaped LED taillights, a revised rear diffuser augmenting rear downforce by 35 percent compared to the Urus S, and a relocated license plate nacelle in the bumper. The headlights feature a squintier, rounder design, complementing a more domed hood and a distinctive front grille and intake arrangement. Notably, the SUV rides on massive 23-inch wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires, available in a variety of eye-catching paint colors.

While the EPA-estimated fuel economy remains undisclosed, the Urus SE plug-in hybrid promises to offer improved efficiency compared to its non-hybrid counterparts, providing Lamborghini enthusiasts with exceptional performance while alleviating concerns regarding fuel consumption.
