“Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Set to Debut as Xiaomi 14 Civi in India: What to Expect”

Last week, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro featuring the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC in China. Now, there are reports suggesting that this new handset from the Civi series will make its way to India under the name Xiaomi 14 Civi. References to the device were reportedly found in the Mi Code. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro boasts a robust camera setup, with a Leica-backed 50-megapixel triple rear camera system and dual front cameras. Additionally, it is equipped with a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro

According to a report by Gizmochina, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro will be introduced in India under the moniker Xiaomi 14 Civi. The publication claims to have spotted references to the Xiaomi 14 Civi in the Mi Code, identifying it with the codename “chenfeng” and the internal model number “N9”.

However, Xiaomi has yet to officially confirm its plans to launch the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India. Furthermore, the final name of the Indian variant remains undisclosed. Therefore, this information should be treated with caution until official confirmation is provided.

In China, the Xiaomi Civi 4  is priced starting from CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,600) for the base configuration with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

It is anticipated that the Xiaomi 14 Civi will offer similar specifications to its Chinese counterpart. The device is expected to feature a 6.55-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Powering the phone will be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro houses a Leica-backed triple rear camera system, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a Leica Optics Summilux lens and OIS support, a 50-megapixel portrait sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, it sports dual 32-megapixel front cameras. Like its Chinese counterpart, it is fueled by a 4,700mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.
