Anna Faris’s son is growing up! The actress, aged 47, appeared as a guest on Today on Monday, July 15, where she sat down with co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Justin Sylvester ahead of the release of her new film My Spy The Eternal City, available on Prime Video July 18.

Faris shared about her 11-year-old son Jack Daniel, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Pratt, revealing that he’s beginning to go through puberty.
Reflecting on Jack’s rapid growth, the House Bunny star admitted, “You miss it sometimes when you look at old photos.”
She also disclosed that her son has started puberty and recently confided in her about his first armpit hair. “I think I’m really enjoying this age,” she remarked. “Although, he told me he has an armpit hair. So, it’s happening.”
“Don’t worry, honey,” Sylvester responded with a chuckle. “It’s happening.”
Faris is also a stepmom to the children of her cinematographer husband Michael Barrett. The couple got engaged in 2019 and eloped two years later.
In November 2022, Faris expressed gratitude to PEOPLE for her great relationship with Pratt and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt.
“We’re all getting closer, and I appreciate that,” said Faris, who has co-parented her son Jack amicably with Pratt since their separation in 2017. “They’re protective of me, and I want to be protective of them. I appreciate their support.”
Faris particularly praised Schwarzenegger Pratt, describing her as “awesome” and admiring her interactions with Jack.
“We won’t be together this Thanksgiving, but I hope we can celebrate holidays together,” she shared at the time. “And I think we can. But right now, we have family obligations that take us elsewhere.”
Continuing, Faris reflected, “I’m happy with that aspect. It feels easier now that time has passed. It feels really good not to have that internal turmoil.”
In April 2023, Pratt, 43, discussed their son Jack’s enthusiasm for his dad’s film Super Mario Bros. Movie.
At the premiere of the video game adaptation, Pratt mentioned that Jack “really freaked out” seeing his dad play the iconic character on screen.
“He already saw it and he’s thrilled. He loves it,” Pratt told PEOPLE. “He took all his friends and he really freaked out. My daughter’s a little too young to see it, but when they do see it, hopefully, they’ll think their dad is cool.”
